01. Who are you ?
I’m a French improviser and composer of contemporary music. With its modular synthesizer and its piano, I create ambient, minimalist and
impressionists. I work on improvised music and pseudo-generative combining meditation and emotions in sound. I first learned the piano by following a formation
traditional then I started using synthesizers and more recently modular.
02. What are you listening actually ?
I’m currently listening to the new singles from Rival Consoles, Echoes and Now Is. I also listen to R Beny, an artist that I adore who mixes natural magic and melancholy.
3. How you came to music ?
I started with the piano as an extra-curricular activity. Then I started composing and I found my way.
4. What gear do you use in studio/live ?
I mainly use synth and modular synth. I don’t use my computer except for recording my 2 tracks live.
5. Do you have an anecdote or a memory to tell us about your music ?
The day I met Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and I didn’t recognize him. We talked about music in an uninhibited way and he really appreciated what I was doing and what I was saying about my music. I didn’t know until later who he was.
6. Which artist would you dream of working with?
Nils Frahm
7. What are your plans for the future?
I’m currently working on a new techno and trance live to try my hand at the dancefloor. I also create a light and low-consumption mobile scenography that reacts to sound. I prepare and write new projects with my collective Moss Explorers.
