01. Who are you ?
I am a 22 year old music composer/instrumentalist from Columbus, Ohio. I produce a wide variety of genres from indie pop to idm.
02. What are you listening actually ?
I like to primarily listen to pop, idm, and ambient music. My favorite artists include Oneohtrix Point Never, Charli XCX, SOPHIE, Autechre, Aphex Twin and, Brian Eno.
3. How you came to music ?
I was always drawn to the guitar growing up and took lessons for several years until I became more interested in electronic music production. I spent almost all of my time in college making dubstep tunes before turning to the ambient and idm genres.
4. What gear do you use in studio/live ?
I use a variety of different gear in my studio including, Elektron Model Cycles, Akai MPC One, Arturia Microfreak, TD-3, Roland MC 303, as well as my acoustic and electric guitars.
5. Do you have an anecdote or a memory to tell us about your music ?
I will always remember my song trepidation because I didn’t intend on releasing it originally and it went on to become my most popular track to date.
6. Which artist would you dream of working with?
There are so many artists that I find inspiring and believe it would be an honor to work with. If I had to choose I would probably say someone like Oneohtrix Point Never who is one of my biggest inspirations.
7. What are your plans for the future?
Currently I am preparing to release my second album, stares from the blind clouds-which centers around ambient and avant-garde sound design pieces. After that releases I plan on spending more time creating music with more acoustic/organic instrumentation. I hope to continue releasing music on a consistent basis in the future.
